We are a nonprofit farm that grows organic, regionally-specific produce and flowers for our onsite flex-pay farmstand. We also provide a humane home to several animals, including rabbits, pigs, and chickens. Unearthing accepts SNAP/EBT and operates on a pay-what-you-can/take-what-you-need system where no one is turned away for lack of funds. As a horizontally managed farm, we pay their small team livable wages and strive to make the space accessible, safe, and unintimidating. Unearthing is committed to antiracist and inclusive work, aiming to welcome and prioritize marginalized voices and projects. Since 2021, Unearthing Farm & Market has been a free and open space for community members of diverse racial, sexual, gender, and religious identities and socio-economic backgrounds to gather and find common ground. Together, we responsibly steward the land through regenerative urban agriculture, water/flood management, and native restoration.
