We are a small, first generation holistic & regenerative family farm in Blacksburg SC. We grow seasonal produce, raise grass-fed grass finished beef, woodland & pastured heritage breed pork (Mangalitsa, Duroc and Berkshire), pasture-raised poultry (chicken, duck & turkey) as well as pasture-raised eggs (our birds have 24/7 access to a fenced 10ac, they go into a coop at night. We have three extremely capable and well trained Livestock Guardian Dogs who keep all of our livestock & land safe from all types of predators.
We strive to provide healthy, clean, nutrient dense food for our family & our community. Our livestock is raised ethically, humanely and as closely to their natural lifestyle as possible. This means they have access to scratch, peck, graze, forage & root to their hearts content all day. They have access to fresh, clean water, nutritious food as well as species specific minerals to ensure thier dietary needs are met and they stay healthy. We love on them as much as they want! When harvest/butcher day arrives it is of the utmost importance that these animals are respected and the process is as humane as possible. Butcher day always starts with prayer for our livestock, family, community & our team of helpers that day. Our goal is to give our livestock all very happy days and one very quick bad moment. We minimize stress prior to butchering by creating routines for them. We process/butcher our poultry on farm as per SC USDA guidelines to reduce the stress of transporting.
We are happy to have visitors by appointment. Our cattle graze on diverse SC pastures and eat as much hay (not sprayed) as they want and occasionally they get fruits and veggies. We offer whole birds, boneless skinless breasts, chicken tenders, wings, leg quarters, legs, thighs, as well as organs, necks, feet, chicken frames and skin.
Our woodland raised heritage breed (Mangalitsa, Duroc and Berkshire) pork and grass-fed, grass-finished beef are sold as whole or half shares as well as retail cuts. If a half share is too much meat consider splitting with a friend or two.
We deliver! Greenville & Fort Mill delivery / pickup location established already. I am happy to organize a delivery / pickup location anywhere in SC (our poultry may only be sold in SC, I can deliver the beef & pork in NC or SC) . Please reach out to us with a suggested location, this can be a private residence or business or any safe area where everyone has permission to be.
