Hi everyone, I'm Mia! My husband and I have recently found love in starting our own garden (mostly the husband) and growing/raising a small flock of chickens (mostly me!) Were big animal lovers and love the thought of having a garden to not only share with the community, but to also be able to have the convience of "oh hey we're out of xyz, I'll just go grab it from the garden" or "oh man I need an egg for this recipe, I'll go see if the hens laid any for me".
Our garden is pesticide free, and our chickens are cage free! They lay beautiful light brown eggs with the most gorgeous orange yolks. They taste both fresh and rich.
We sell our eggs unwashed so they can sit on your counter top for up to 2 weeks, and up to 2 months (5-6 weeks) refrigerated. Please be sure to wash your eggs BEFORE you consume them! Garden veggies will be washed prior to sale so remember to stick them in the fridge when you get home!
I dadabble in baking, so any baked goods are FRESH and free of any preservatives! To help them keep their freshness, it's best to keep them in your refrigerator as well. When freezing baked goods to use at a later date, be sure to move from the freezer to your fridge 24-48 hours before you need it, as it takes some time to defrost.
