Hi, I’m Mariah, the baker behind Buttercream & Bows! 🎀
Baking has always been something I love, and what started as making treats for family and friends quickly grew into a dream of sharing that joy with my community. While I work full-time as a social worker during the week, I spend my evenings and weekends in the kitchen creating homemade treats from scratch.
Buttercream & Bows is truly a one-woman bakery. From feeding my sourdough starter and mixing dough to baking, decorating, packaging, labeling, and stocking the stand, every single detail is done by me. I spend just as much time choosing the perfect packaging and creating each label as I do baking because I want every order to feel thoughtful, beautiful, and special. Freshness is one of my top priorities, so everything is baked in small batches and carefully prepared to ensure you’re getting the best quality possible.
My little pink bakery stand was created to bring fresh, homemade baked goods to Newton while giving people a fun place to stop for something sweet. Whether you’re picking up a loaf of sourdough, a cookie cake for a celebration, or simply grabbing a weekend treat, I hope every bite feels homemade and made with love.
