I have an avocado tree from an orchard in the 1950s. It makes an older variety of Reed that you can’t find anymore. They are the size of a baby’s head. It’s a huge tree taller than my house and when they come down, they come down hard so it may have impact spots, but it still takes me a week to get through the Avocado, even when you cut out any bad  spots. We don’t sit under the Avocado tree.
