AG Dependent Farm is becoming a farm / homestead focused on meat and vegetables to provide for an Alpha-Gal Disease friendly diet. Alpha-Gal is a tick bite illness that is growing rapidly in the South East. My wife was bitten 5 years ago and became anaphylactic to mammal. We learned during Covid we couldn't depend on grocery stores to provide the proteins needed for victims of Alpha-Gal. So we have set out on a journey to grow our own and supply for others.
Today we are constantly incubating quail and select chicken eggs. we intend to include duck and turkey as we go into summer.
We are constantly hatching Coturnix Quail. We have a Tuxedo Breeder Set and a Autumn Amber Breeder Set.
We also sell Adult Roosters to Eat as well as fertilized and un-fertile Eggs to eat or pickle.
I can meet/deliver these birds at the Tractor Supply in Bessemer or Gardendale area also Trigreen Equipment in Pelham for free or deliver most anywhere. First 10 miles free and .75 cents per mile after.
