Welcome to Quarter-mile Farm - a food forest, flower, and produce farm!
Our goal here at the farm is grow as much as our own food as possible for our family, and sell and share the extras to provide nutritious local food for our community. We also like to grow produce to sell in bulk to customers looking for large amounts for preserving, such as rhubarb, pickling cucumbers and dill, garlic, winter squash/pumpkins, green beans, and more to come.
We are beginning to dabble with flowers as well, and hope to have a selection of bouquets available this summer.
We also have started a 2-acre food forest, wanting to mimic the natural way forests grow with fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, herbs, and many other food-producing and beneficial plants all mixed together.
