Fredericks Homestead

We started our venture into homesteading when we couldn't buy enough at a time to feed our family of 5 (3 athletes) a complete meal during the COVID grocery restrictions. We now sell our extras to help offset the cost of raising livestock. We sell honey, eating and hatching eggs, chicks, ducklings, keets, and hopefully soon, goslings and Southdown wool. Our property is fully organic. We treat holistically when necessary. We breed for resistance, friendliness, and egg color. We raise pure muscovy ducks, pure whiting true blue chickens, and brown Chinese geese. Our other ducks are a dual purpose mix of welsh harlequin, khaki campbells, and Cayuga. We mostly sell their eggs to eat, but the mixed offspring do make great layers and a decent meat duck.
Our family is also into rescue and transport of livestock and transport for Luck & Legends Saint Bernard Rescue. We have worked with L&L since 2007. We have adopted 7 Saint Bernards from them over the years, and transported many others.
